First of all, thanks everyone for playing my most recent jam game, Bullet Happy! I did not expect so many people to enjoy it considering it was made in such a short period of time and was unable to go through all of the quality testing I usually do. I'm thinking about updating the project later with new content and game mechanics, but we'll see as I'm currently focused on my first big project: Terralora.
The page goes into depth about what exactly the game is. But basically, it's going to be a massive action rogue-lite that experiments with and remixes a lot of game design tropes. I'm taking quite a lot of risks here; however, it should make the game stand out quite a lot from other titles. It has exploration and combat as its core design focus, not too revolutionary on its own, but I'm going to do quite a lot with it. It has been in development for quite a long time now and I'm aiming to release a public demo this fall. It'll be on this site too I think! There is some footage of early gameplay on my Youtube. Unfortunately, no trailers yet!
Growing up I've always wanted to play a game that just had way too much for you to explore and do. So I played a lot of games like Skyrim, Warframe, Spiral Knights, and many Zelda series games, but they weren't exactly what I was looking for. That's the main reason I got into game development, to create games that scratched my very specific itches for different genres. Anyways, this is quite exciting for me, as it has been quite a long journey and I'm finally in the latter half of development :)
